Verified by Visa(VBV)/MasterCard® SecureCode™ (MSC)/ProtectBuySM
is a service from Visa/MasterCard/Diners that lets you shop online securely with your existing Debit/Credit card on participating VBV/MSC/ProtectBuy websites. It protects you against unauthorized use of your card at participating online retailers by displaying a personal message known only to you and your bank. Your transaction would be complete only after you provide your VBV/MSC/ProtectBuy password.
NetSafe
is a unique online secure payment solution from HDFC Bank. NetSafe enables you to generate a unique virtual card number using your physical Visa Debit/Credit or Mastercard Debit/Credit Card. Your physical card number is thus safe from getting exposed on the net. NetSafe is currently FREE for all HDFC Bank Visa and Mastercard Debit and Credit Card holders.
Note:
1. The login ID and password created by you during the registration process is valid for NetSafe and Verified by Visa / MasterCard® SecureCode™/ ProtectBuySM.
2. While transacting online on Verified by Visa/ MasterCard® SecureCode™/ ProtectBuySM enabled websites, there will be a password prompt. Please enter your password. The Login Id is not required for performing online transactions.
3. You can re-set your password online. Your Login Id is not required to re-set your password.
4. Register for ProtectBuy to avoid decline of internet transactions using your HDFC Bank Diners Credit Card.
5. Register for RuPay PaySecure to avoid decline of internet transactions using your HDFC Bank RuPay Debit Card.
6. Please ensure that your latest mobile number/ email id is updated in the Bank records. Visit nearest Branch or call Customer Care for the same.
